A concept originally started in 2005 by previous Sole Addiction members; Steve Rowlands and Mark Pitts under the name Project 25. The goal was to create a groove driven sound by infusing experimental drum beats with unusual guitar riffs, often of an exotic nature.

Together, Mark and Steve wrote and recorded the main basis for the first 12 songs (which would later be revisited and re-recorded). As the band have progressed through the years more and more songs have been added to the extended catalogue including the most recent EPs; Solace and Kubla Ross Theory.

This writing/recording process has also allowed Kamasupazundown to develop it's sound, branching to the heavier rock genres along with some increasingly in depth lyrical content inspired by cultural, social and personal influences.
