K.C and K-JAY are two talented young men hailing from the Downtown area of Jersey City, NJ.  Both meant not in the booth but on the basketball court where both shared their first childhood dream.  After finding out that they both had amazing musical abilities they would then focus on their then rap careers at the age of 13.  With no guidance and forced to learned on there own, K.C and K-JAY did not find much success.  It was when they graduated High School at the age of 17 that they finally pursued  a childhood dream of becoming rap icons.  First dropping their first mixtape June 23, 2006 titled "Summer Of The K."  The late spring early summer project included smash hits like, "WHY U HAD TO CHEAT?," "CHILLTOWN TO E.O," "MAKE U SMILE," and "DOWNTOWN STAY DOWN."(insprided by the slogan with the same title)  The Mixtape was an instant classic, receiving plenty of attention througout their hometown. They then took almost a year off to prepare for an album titled "The Last Of The Best" which came out May 23, 2007.  It concentrated more on songs and versatily and they scored big with "THE PURSUIT," "WHY ARGUE?," "Up RiGHt PARTY," and "UPSIDE DOWN."  With "Summer Of The K Vol. 2 Unfinished Business (The Mid-Summer Classic)" coming in July, K.C and K-JAY are now keeping a promise to stay consistent.  The sky is the limit for the two and no one stands in there.
