About Artist

Kelly Coyne came from God's world. She was chosen by the happy smile on her face and pretty Platinum curly Blonde hair, long before she started singing and song-writing. Her Lutheran - Catholic upbringing brought her closer to life and she came from a suburb of Cleveland Ohio, not as a homeless woman with a keyboard, but as a hometown native. Her Finnish Grandmother was a Soprano at her church, her Aunt is a retired singer from Northern California, her late baby brother was a drummer in Kelly's band(he passed away at the age of 42) For Kelly Coyne is unique talented woman. Every song on her up coming debut album "Praise Jesus(psalms 21:5)" was written by Kelly. Through she stands on her own two feet with a a little bit of funk and asymmetry in the original past she really does remember. "Lord, I Can't Do it Alone" A presage unique way of saying that she wants her mother to come home. "Dear God, Bless me" Growing up wasn't easy, she had to go through alot of headache and pain. "Can't Say Goodbye" A dream from an Guardian Angel about her brother's death a week before his passing. "Jesus Savior Son" was done because not only did her mother pass and her baby brother, but also her Father passed in the same year as her brother & mother, all in 2011, the song was a blessing to write about the life as she re-witness it. "Grief" Is about herself, dealing with so much heartache and suffering throughout the years. "Jesus Don’t Give Up On Me" The real life dream she received in the August of 2011 of the one we all know as of Singer-Songwriter Hank Williams, came into her life and wanted to make sure she gave a message to his son, but this isn't easy, she has no way of connecting to his son or how he would feel when she did give him the message. "Da Momma's Baby" Her own beloved Kitty died under terrible terms, when a Vet who is suppose to protect all animal life, didn't and caused much pain and depression. "Alone with God" Talking to God was easy, but not answering was harder as time went on so did her suffering. " Love without a Rhyme" was inspired by was inspired by the her Mom, who was there for her, loves to be excited and came up with a mellow soft song. All of her songs people can relate to have lots issues that run in her family, but that is only a tad part of the oceanside that opens us up to Kelly. That name, is truth of a special journey some say hard to deal with.... Kelly was born on September 2, 1962 in a town called Brookpark, Ohio. Kelly's parents grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. She is the oldest of 4 children blessed by George and JoAnn Coyne, she's no one special and didn't travel the world. She is a special gal with dreams and wishes that someday she will get noticed, she wasn't sure if she could sing without letting in a deep breath or hold it for a minute or two. But she did. In 1965, Her Grandmother taught her how to sing in Finnish of course, the song is called "Lenna, Lenna, Leppakerttu" the song goes like this: Lenna, lenna Leppakerttu ison kiven juureen siella on sun aitis isas keittaa sulle puuroo By 1969, she started piano lessons with help from her grandmother. Piano lessons grew and so did her writing lyrics by the time she was twelve, which were inspired by her grandmother's singing in finnish. She had her first and one of many performances while studying piano. In all, her teachers said you will soar in later life, and this took her grandmother's touch and brought this remarkable woman to inspire you all with her songs that came from the heart, a heart of gold. A nine year old with a background in piano. She started writing lyrics into her first diary at the age of twelve and when the whole book was filled with melodies and details on her piano. Instead of playing outside with her younger sister & brothers, she was inside thinking up new unique songs to play on her piano. One of many songs was called "Summer Play". and still has the song when she wrote it 38 years ago in pencil. In 1992, Kelly started Freestyling Hip Hop and to this day she hasn't lost the hype! Rappers from New York, California and everywhere around the United States were surprised that a 30 year old woman could freestyle like that. She was up against the biggest rappers, including Tupac Shakur, Wutang Clan, Ice Cube, Too Short, T-Spoon and many other underground rappers. She met Tupac Shakur, when he was visiting his friends in New York, four years later Tupac Shakur died and she lost a good friend, this brought her music closer to which it should of happened years before. In 1993, T-Spoon was a close friend who died in a drive by shooting at the age of nineteen, was inspired by Kelly. When the two went head on head and found out how old she was. That opened the doors and began her music career. Something snapped in her head and she wanted to pursue her two careers in music and computers. Two things one alone has a hard time doing at the same time, but she did. And its paid off later in life. A year later in 2007, She rekindled her singing to a deeper, yet softer melody with help from her cousin Keith Mitchell on her Mother's side. He taught Kelly how to put her songs on the guitar. That wasn't a easy task. Because she didn't know first hand how to play guitar, yet hold a guitar(she held my guitar upside down!) Keith said later on he was determined to teach her how to play right side up. With the same chords he played as a boy, the 87 year old with multiple years in a local band and teaching to those who want to learn with a Degree from Kent State University, he was a Viet-Nam VET, he passed away at the age 87 of natural causes in 2012. She is culturally diverse hodgepodge coming in fast with a bang! Today, she was once very stage fright in school and shy around people whom she didn't know during open mic nights in the bars with her friend Caroline and calls Kelly a God Send brought from heaven for a reason to entertain. She immersed herself years into all kinds of music, writing every day, and is inspired by, everything from her own music, Mozart, Shinedown, B.B. King, The Who, The Stones, Cinderella, Steppenwolf, Led Zeppelin, Loudness, Metallica, Cream, CCR, Miles Davis, Nickelback, Helloween, Holly Williams, Poison, Tim McGraw, Beastie Boys, Baekdoosan, the Beatles, Staind, Eric Clapton, Tupac Shakur, Snoop Doggy, Bob Dylan, Missy Elliott, Hank Williams Sr., Digital Underground, Hank Williams Jr., Harry Versluijs, Train, Kid Rock, Korn, Ozzy, T- Spoon, Kenny Chesney, the Black Crowes, Radiohead, Hinder, Johnny Cash, David Allen Coe, Stryker, Pennywise, Iron Maiden, Faith No More, Bamaboys, Lynyrd Skynrd, BIG, AC/DC, Aerosmith, old Black Sabbath, Blue Oyster Cult, Judas Priest, The Pixies, Van Halen, Charlie Daniels Band, Neil Young, Toby Keith and it goes on and on. Seriously, If someone tries to stop her from fulfilling her dream, she tells them to bug off. In January, 2012, she was chosen to Hard Rock Rising 2012, Cleveland, Ohio, one of her songs called "Take 23 I wanna make you" was chosen even through Kelly didn't win she was glad to be apart of this. In September, 2011, she was featured on Harry Versluijs Video called "AJAR(HD)" In 2010, she was featured on Corpse Circus Album "Some Assembly Required" song called "Why you talking shit remix" In 2008 - 2009, she was featured on Independent Music Network when a friend emailed her and said he added her songs to the site on the internet. And the votes poured in. She didn't know first hand how to go into the music business or what royalties meant, she began to lay the groundwork little by little, throwing in hints to her friends and questions about this and that and even got turned down by a singer friend, who was outright rude and thought she wasn't good enough. When he tried to get her to turn into another direction. But that didn't stop her, she was determined to make it work. After repeat let downs and rudeness then came the ahh's she became the only singer who is and always will survive in the business. With a hand-held keyboard and 10 song EP in the middle of the winter in 2012, had to bum rides on the local bus at $1.00 a ride to take her to visit the local bars and music stores that taught music lessons. That didn't stop her when she got home, she began looking in telephone book and online for addresses of music companies that would take 2 cents to listen to her sing. She didn't know what she was doing wrong and finally called a friend and told them what happened. Her friend laughed at first and said I think you need to talk to my special friend and she was introduced and he said I need to know the basic facts on what you are trying to do and she told him. From there he told her what she needed to do with his background in Business and a well known singer, added she was a good singer. But lacked information and he said listen if you really want to do this, you need to listen to me and from there she did just that. Thank You Tiki Her Cure for Country, Hip Hop, Rock. Joshua Thomas Tired of listening to bands & singers, who claim their sound...This lady is amazing, one of a kind sweet gal, A must to inquire about & listen to. She is a awesome lady. With more than one talent. Thanks Bro Just like the beautiful mishmash of cultures her International country sound comes together in a cohesive meld that works and works well. “Kelly is a true original in a sea of mediocrity…” says Rachel Wills of Nashville Entertainment, and if you are looking for new ear to candy invigorate your bored musical taste buds, Kelly is sure to satisfy your cravings. What’s that sound? It’s fun, catchy upbeat music, something akin in the most wonderful sound people are taking notice of her in a special way. In many ways, she is untouchable and yet soft.
