Canada`s newest storyteller is an amazing acoustic based singer/songwriter with a sultry, peaceful voice that can rock with a purpose. He hails from Hamilton, Ontario, A solo performer who made his debut in 2002 as part of the Hamilton Music Scene (under director Jean-Paul Gautier),appearing on stage at Hamilton Place Theatre, he performed hit songs from his soon-to-be-released CD "Sleeping On the Grass" . . A self taught man who believes anything is possible when you work with desire. A rarity of grit, that can only be found in the,... STEEL CITY OF HAMILTON ONTARIO, Ken`s music reflects the honesty and raw passion that built the city s musical and industrial output. Kenny has been playing on the local scene (bars, clubs, and coffee houses) where his classic rock covers can be heard. Recently in 2005, Kenny has performed in the award-winning (Hamilton Music Scene Award) George Harrison tribute concert, for the benefit of Hamilton`s Out-of-the-Cold program for the city`s homeless population. Following in the footsteps of other erea luminaries as Tom Wilson, Rob Lamothe,Daniel Lanois, Kenny sings songs that actually mean something....Often seen doing high energy solo shows, he`s joined by his backing band, the 14th Floor, when he needs to bring out the big guns .... His band the 14th Floor is comprised from no less diversity than Kenny himself. Ranging from the heavenly female vocals of Anne Torrie and , to the cool bass of Maxine and intens drumming of Franz, the (Nagles). ........Kenny has been asked many times where the name The 14th Floor came from. It was the year 2000, when Kenny received a phone call and was asked if he and his band would like to open for another band at a benefit concert. He accepted, not thinking that he didn`t have a band. You see he just had gone solo. When his short term memory loss subsided, he came up with (Kenny and the 14th Floor), and so the name stuck. Ken has been seen around Southern Ontario gigging with more regularity at his club shows and hight profile charity events, He s also finishing up the work on his first full length album, recorded in part by Rob Lamothe and Chris Clause. see www.footrecords.ca
