About Band
Bringing in diverse influences from childhood gaming, and artists like Spencer Chamberlain, Damien Rice and the many talented unsigned bands out there, we have infused our musical talents to create what we consider to be a unique genre which shows our passion for the music we create, being in a band that we enjoy every minute of.
Our first self funded and recorded E.P ‘The long awaited 100%’ is available now.
The Long Awaited 100%
Electro/Screamo
Self Released
You'd have to be a genre pariah to have missed the hoo-ha surrounding Herts trance-screamo heroes enter shikari recently and while their success signalled the simoultaneous sound of a hundred scene-kids dusting off their old keyboards or hunting electrical shops for samplers. It is fair to say they may have unleashed an unwelcome repeatable monster.
But I'm happy to introduce you to a band that, although influenced by the new digital craze, are very much building their own metallic beast.
Dual Shock is a tempered electro mash-up with Mikes mellow tones melting well with Bailey's throat vocals, Slip Through follows suit while the infectioous Nintunedo bounces on the most simple yet catchy of sample box melodies but with added growl, thanks again to the aggrevated metal vocals, then finale Tekken blows open all doors with its intense fusion of the band's now trademark stripped down digital screamo-metal.
Electro is the neon flavour of the day. Kikoho Blast have stripped down the glamour of the scene and fed it back to the kids with an added power boost. At one end of the spectrum the duo have played with computer game melodies and digital experimentation, but at the other end they've layered the sweet beep heavy tunes with their own death knell. Something that for me proves the duo are more than capable of taking on the scene in which they're plugged into. On top of that, they've created this opening statement in under a week... in months who knows what they can create.
