The brand, Kolea Hills. The name, Professor D. The man, David Christian. Aloha and welcome to the unsigned.com page of Kolea Hills. I am 25 years of age and currently reside in the "melting pot" of the Pacific...Hawaii. Living here is everything that many people believe it to be, and so much more. Beautiful people and beaches, great food and culture, the many aspects one considers when asked, "How would you like to live the rest of your life?" all exist here...and music is no exception. Though we may be just a little behind in timing when it comes to top new releases, our diversity is what sets us apart. We are able to get a hold of far more music, in a location aspect, then much of the continental United States, and with that I am on a mission to bring music that we have been making here for years into mainstream America. I have been playing music since the age of 9 with instruments such as, the ukulele, the guitar, the electric piano, and the drums. I have also been writing music since the age of 13, and have finally found some success getting a few songs on a local radio station. I have just started to learn the Producing/Engineering side of music (almost 2 years now) and that is where I have found my passion lies. I have been learning from and working with some of Hawaii's top Producers like Lawrence Yurong, who currently works with the world renowned Mountain Apple Company, and a very close friend of mine named Dwayne Andres, who have worked for Disney, Nickelodeon, Dreamworks, and also Father M.C. who discovered Mary J. Blige and K-Ci and JoJo. It is with these skills I have learned from such great producers that I hope to accomplish what I have set out to do....make TIMELESS music.
