"La Federation ltd" is A 2 piece Techno-Rock- Alternative band with a guitar, rocking backing tracks, strong lyrics, keys and powerful vocals.
"La Federation ltd" was born in 2006 but first, there was "Killingflaw"; an indie, electronic, alternative band that David John Patrick (on the guitar, beats, loops and lyrics) created in 2000, back in the UK, but relocated to Victoria B.C not long after. Patrick went on to release two EP's and a full-length album with "Killingflaw".
Even while gaining radio play in several countries and being nominated for 3 "Vancouver Island Music Award”, Patrick was not exactly satisfied and wanted to go further with "Killingflaw".
In the summer 2006, he met Dress on the Canadian West coast and saw the end of "Killingflaw" but the rising of
"La Federation ltd". Dress had a musical and artistic career of her own and was developing ideas.
As a keys player, session singer and contemporary dancer, Dress was seriously looking for another musician who would be interested in making a new musical project.
Dress and Dj Patrick revisited some of there old Tracks and wrote new songs together.
After only 2 shows back in Victoria BC, they went on to release a 5 tracks EP at Zolis Audio Production (Toronto, On),
Engineered and mixed by Jim Zolis and Produced by “La Federation ltd”. The album is world wide distributed through Universal Music and Promoted by Attack tracks, a division of Attack Tunes Music Publishing, in Toronto, On!
