About Artist
I have been singing for as long as I can remember and performed on stage since I was 7 years old. I love performing in front of people and I try to write songs that other people can relate to. I am currently a member of an urban/gospel choir called the “one heart one voice.” We have recently filmed a music video with young kof for the Anthony walker appeal. We are also going to appear on channel 5 in a show called “wedding bells”. The choir were also involved throughout Black History Month performing at a variety of venues such as the Playhouse Theatre and the Liverpool Academy where we had the great opportunity to meet Miss Dynamite. I have also sung solo at some venues such as the Palm House Sefton Park Liverpool.
I am currently attending the “Get Real” Academy. I was interviewed and had airplay of two of my songs on BBC Radio Merseyside to promote the Academy and to advertise our showcase as part of Liverpool Music Week Festival. In the showcase I sang four of my songs accompanied by a band, which consisted of a drummer, electric and double base guitarist.
I attended Lipa 4:19 for two years studying singing, dancing and drama. During that time I performed in a number of shows, one being the “Life Changes” production, songs written by Eddie Lundon from China Crisis and Ged McKenna flexible learning director at Lipa.
When I was ten until I was twelve I was a member of the “Starlite Show group” we toured Liverpool, Manchester and Wales. I was a soloist and appeared in dance routines.
When I was at junior school I sang solo in my parish church and throughout school productions.
As well as the above I have attended many dance and drama schools throughout Liverpool to further my learning and knowledge of the music industry and to enable me to find my own style. I used to sing any type of music but for the past year I have concentrated on R&B, jazz, soul and hip hop, as that is the music I love.
