Lewis Barham was born in East Anglia in 1995 and moved to Suffolk when he was 10. He has played the piano and sung since he was 5 and from his childhood to present day he has composed many songs both popular and classical contemporary in a very unique style, encompassing the gentle and touching beauty of minimalism. Now he plays the piano, oboe and sings. He was the singer and keyboardist in The Figures for a while until he discovered a different music within him he wanted to pursue. Now he composes and produces his own music. This is what he said about his music "I want the listener to be immersed in my music, completely overcome by it, astounded and captivated. If caught on the moment, music creates the deepest feelings imaginable within you and touches you forever. It enthralls you, and keeps you connected. This is what I try and do with my music, and I hope I am successful at this". He writes music in various genres ranging from popular to dance. Lewis has been learning composition for a while now and he hopes to take it to University level, studying at either the Royal College Of Music or Guildhall.
