We are a Melodic Metal Band originating from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan (South Africa). We we're basically just 3 friends (Jan, Henk, Jean) who just shared the same passion for music in our genre. We all had more than 4 years experience with bands at that point in time and jammed together ocasionally 'till one day we decided to form 'Locus Standi'. At the time we were still in search of a drummer and Jan/bassist introduced us to our legendary drummer, Marius! From the first session we just clicked...but there was something missing..Marius then told us about his friend JJ who had major experience in the field! JJ redefines the art of screaming, pig squeeling & growling...
