About Band
Long Day Fear was formed in late October 2008, from the burning embers of the late midlands bands Unleash and Eternal Rage. Richie Tyler, former vocalist for Eternal Rage, contacted Steve Broughton, guitarist from Unleash, and simply explained that he should be the band’s vocalist. Steve, along with bassist Mark Baker and drummer Wilf Williams, were all frustrated with the current state of Unleash, and met with Richie. There was an instant connection between the four on their ideas and thoughts on making music to goals for the group. Sharing a passion for real music and pure rock, Steve and Richie began to pen new material that practically wrote itself, creating naturally deep, soulful melodies and heavy, groovy hooks and riffs. The band came together, totally enveloped in the new music and the meshing styles created an amazing and sinewy brand of rock, underscored by all that rock n roll was. Long Day Fear is dedicated to bringing real rock and good music back to a long deserving world. Long Day Fear has just released an EP as a sneak peek into their upcoming full length album due out fall 2009. Welcome back to Rock N Roll!
