About Artist

Influences: K-Dogg(homie/mentor to him)  Dirty Boyz, OutKast, Goodie Mob, Pastor Troy, Ludacris, Playaz Circle, Ghostface Killah, De La Soul, Common, Talib Kweli, Hi-Tek, Dr.Fangaz, and Big K.R.I.T.

Even though he was born Brodney Mack, he earned his name in the streets of Lincoln Park. MB has been writing poetry every since he was 10 and lyrics every since he was 12. When he was 14 K-Dogg, a long time mentor and somewhat big brother to him, taught him how to freestyle. Since it was his first time really doing it, MB used to mess up and give up easily, but K-Dogg kept him persistent until the point where he could do it with ease. For the next 2 years, K-Dogg put MB through lyrical boot camp. K-Dogg would make MB freestyle on the daily basis, listen to nothing but instrumentals, and make him rap fast to control stability, speed, enunciation, pronunciation, style, swagger, and delivery. By the time MB was 16, he was recording tracks on his own. Not knowing much about producing, the quality wasn't very good, still MB was satisfied with just hearing himself. MB had also joined with a group named "Affiliated" which consisted of, L.Dot(Lancer Carter), K-Dogg(Kelvin Walker), Bossman(Brandon Daniel), and 1 Judah(Trenton Collier). But due to lack of communication the group slowly fell apart. 1 Judah(MB's Brother) would also make beats for him, along with L.Dot and Bossman. MB would sometimes, call friends over to do tracks, freestyle, make beats, etc. When MB was 18, it was his first time recording in a real studio, a good long time friend of his, Bossman, was in college and his school had a studio. Around that time he met up with some other people and got with this group called BlocStarr. MB recorded a couple tracks with BlocStarr, and a friend of his Poppa Kane(CEO of Roll or Get Rolled Over Records). Poppa Kane had his own recording equipment so him and MB recorded some songs and dropped a mixtape in Lincoln Park/Thomaston well known as "Gift Of Gab:Lincoln Park Edition Vol. 1". Still representing BlocStarr, MB got some bad news that BlocStarr no longer existed, so for a year MB sat patiently waiting and handling business. Now, MB has ties 760 Entertainment he isn't official there, but they are an affiliate of his. MB also has ties with 3ODB(3 Of Da Best)(BIG UPS!!! 2 YOUNG PETTY AND SCOOT J) Now a days MB represents M.M.M.(Matrix Mastered Musik), which just consists of just him and his brother.

Words from Mack Bone "My whole mission is to change the face of the south, and to show everyone that there are some real lyricist in the south.  Not everyone is rapping about dope or dancing, some people really are some real lyricist."
