Mario started out in the mid 1990's composing music in the latin genre. His music writing style has been compared to Bruce Hornsby with a rock edge and it has been said that you can really feel the emotional state in which the song was written.
Mario has been playing the guitar since he was ten years old, and he also played worship music for his father's church. With an absence of four years in the Marine Corps, he returned in 1993 and formed a Spanish cover band called "Brujas". Following the break-up of "Brujas" he formed another band, "Merchant", which was Spanish Rock; at the same time collaborating with bands, "Red" and "Sister Shotgun".
In 1999, Mario went back to his roots and started performing as a worship leader, and has also been writing and performing his own music ever since, with the intent of becoming a signed artist and having his music featured in television and film.
