About Band
This band was fomed on 2004 during the high school era. It was formed by Jme(guitar),Nueng(guitar),Pat(drum) and Ben(bass). During that time this band was known as "Rumpai Laut".They started to get active after they made a show by playing The Vines songs. After a few months Pat and Ben decided to leave the band for some reason and this only leaves Jme and Nueng in the band.
Both Jme and Nueng started to look for a new line up. They both look for their schoolmates who like to play music. After a few years (2006) Jev(drum) and Dedek(bass) joined the band and the band started to get active again as known as "Scumbag"by jamming Butterfingers' songs. But this line up did not last long after Nueng left the band follwed by Jev and Dedek for some reason.
After a few months, Jme make a new line up which is joined by Daryl(bass),Eteng(drum) and Aneng(guitar). They faced a lot of problem searching for a vocalist. After a few weeks,they took in Cos into the band as their sessionist because he failed to attract them to took him as a vocalist. They continue to jamm Butterfingers songs and lastly they decided to make their own songs which is influenced by Butterfingers,Nirvana,Mudhoney and Silverchair(old skul). After a few months of planning they decided to name their band "Mean Majesty"(which is inspired by the hatred and violence shown by the world leaders which causes war and death). They now in the planning to rise the Grunge music in the Land Of Borneo which now is getting to fade up.
