Michelle is a singer-actor-composer-writer-painter who lives and works in Toronto.  Her musical style comes from a blend of influences and genres, including opera, jazz, soul, rock, folk, acoustic and the music of each country that crosses her path.  Michelle has written music for various projects, including for film, opera, rock, jazz and folk music.  In the past, Michelle has been a member of such notable bands as "Starving Artists" (Barrie, ON), Hans Tschiritsch Collaborations, composer for the contemporary opera "Violetta", "Seventeenth Avenue" (Toronto, ON), The Love Crimes (Toronto/Barrie/Camden East Ontario) amd others.  She is currently in the band Not From Concentrate (Toronto, ON) and is also the Artistic Director of Odd Opera, an interdisciplinary arts company also located in Toronto.  Her songs can be heard on "The Songs of Christmas"  (Featuring VIP, produced for The Barrie Huronia Rotary Club), "BarnJam 2005- Live" (Tough Productions), "Barn Jam Recordings 2007- Live" (Tough Productions), ("Myty Ktere Nas Spouji/ Myths that Unite Us" (CD for Ypsylon Theatre, Prague, Czech Republic 2004), "The Art Of Living" (Ypsylon Theatre Recordings, 2006), as well as guest performances on  "Hogtown Meltdown" (Joel Dalton, 2011), "Turning The Crank..." (The Good Ideas, 2006), "The Year of The Golden Pig" (MC Wildcat, FryNM Productions 2007), and "Corrosive" (Skeleton Hand, FryNM Productions 2007), among others.  Michelle has her hon.B.A. from the University of Toronto in Music and Drama, and studied voice with ProVoce Studios in Toronto.  She worked for TrypTych Vocal Theatre Inc. for 5  consecutive seasons, in both their Ensemble Division, and as a guest soloist in their Opera Division.   Her writing has been published in "The Underground" (news publication, Toronto) where she was associate editor, "The Scarborough Fair- creative writing journal" (Scarborough, ON), and other publications in print, performance, and electronic media. Michelle is currently working on her debut full length studio album, and has released "NeverOddOrEven", a 2-disk DVD compilation with Odd Opera, "NeverOddOrEven", a compilation of live music from 2009-2011, and her solo EP,  "Notes On A Song...".
