"Be the Change you wish to see in the world" This quote is by Gandhi, an excellent philosopher. This is one of the quotes that i live by. I am Brian Rankin, and I'm in the band My Simple Honor. I've played the guitar, for 10 years now, the piano for 4 years, and I've written music and sung for 8 years. A few years ago my eyes were opened to the real world that we live in. I looked around, and noticed how many people just in my home town of Idaho Falls that were in poverty, who had problems being able to afford a gift for their children on Christmas, or who couldn't afford a decent meal for their family. So many people in this world are so caught up in themselves, and how they have to be the top in the world, or the top of their school that they don't notice all the other many people who have such a hard time with surviving on a regular basis. There are so many people also that are lonely, and depressed often, just cause the other people put on this Mask of Society and they think they won't be cool if they help them out, and do the right thing. That is why i'm here, is to help people out, to open people's eyes so that they can see the damage the world has done to everyone, what society has done for everyone.
