Mystik’s Christened name is Daniel Ezeh Peter. He was born on the 10th of March 1987, on a good Tuesday Evening in a Military Barracks Lagos, Nigeria. He’s from an average home of 9 boys, he’s the 7th son of his parents. At the age of 5, he started having flare for classical music, Mostly Christmas Period. Well, his best classical composer Handel (Handel Messiah). He joined the church choir at the age of 6 at St. Roberts Catholic Church. He took a favorite solo by Handel (comfort Yee). He’s father was an Electrical Engineer and His mother was a secretary. He attended a Missionary School (Saint Dominic Nursery School) from 1990-1993, and then moved on to Command Children School (Ann Barracks). He then, attended University of Lagos Staff School from 1993-1999. He spent most of his childhood around choir masters. He was involved in so many activities that had to do with the choir. He started composing his first lyrics at the age of 9 called (Catt elite). He started learning how to play recorder, then moved on to learning how to play a piano and he took after his father a professional Congaist. After wards he started learning production with a beat box machine when he was about to proceed to secondary school. He was later trained by his 1st brother Samuel who actually started music production before him. In the year 1999 he started Secondary School at International School University of Lagos (ISL) and finished at C.M.S grammar school missionary in 2005. His secondary school days started out fine, but later became a nightmare when everything actually went against his music career. Nobody actually believed in him and the school music teacher didn’t allow him to join the music class. Then he joined the fine art class. He continues to train himself independently, lyrically and in production wise. He was also good in sport; he was the first cricket captain of (ISL). He won Gold Medal in sports such as; High Jump, Javelin, and he were the best goal keeper in his set. According to his secondary school history, he was neglected generally; he was only loved by few people who gave him lively encouragements. Thereafter, he started meeting people who were musically inclined. He was privileged to attend summer music classes. Gradually he started having love for rap. He’s influences are Busta Rhythms, Eminem, Masta Ace and Obie trice. These were my modes of raps. From there, he picked a great interest and started street battle. Were he met and conquered so many MC’s and rappers. That was actually when he picked up rap carrier and decided to be a legendary rapper in the Music Industry. He got the name “Mystik” from Mystic. Mystik describes himself as a rapper who claims to attain, or believes in the possibility of attaining, insight into mysteries transcending ordinary human knowledge, as by direct communication with the divine or immediate intuition in a state of spiritual involvements. He says my rap is Technical, lyrical, Mystical and tactical. Mystik decided to move his music career to the next level. He searched for, and joined Talent Homes. E.g Talent House International, created by Miss Mojisola Aribisala, that’s where he got his first interview with “Lola Expose” on Silverbird Television, a local station in Nigeria. Talent house didn’t boost his career as expected. So he decided to move on. None the less, in his music exploration, he met people like, D.T.M, Don bang, D.E.M.A.K, J.B and Mayor. Mystik took necessary steps of having a Standard home Audio Recording Studio named 9MM Studio at Egbeda Estate with friends like Don Bang, D.T.M. and Emmah, which didn’t work out well as expected. Mystik as a producer and an Artiste has worked in many studios. E.g Studio 1 at Eric Emmanuel Str off Bode Thomas Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria and Fisher’s Studio at Bola Shadipe Close, Masha, Lagos, Nigeria as a Studio Manager, Sound Engineer, Mix/Mastering Engineer and Producer. Well according to Mystik, he was monetarily exploited upon and he took necessary steps to leave the studios. Mystik has produced so many Artists listed below;

Mystik has been through a lot of hard time as an unsigned Solo Artiste/producer. He believes in hard work, determination, self confidence, and consistent making of Musical Hits that he will rule the industry in no time. Mystik has done a lot of songs and collaborations with Artists around Nigeria and have performed in many shows around Lagos, Nigeria.
Mystik is unsigned and he’s looking for a recording deal by a major recording label.
His life in music has been a miracle so far and he has affected so many people in his own little ways.
