My name is Naomi Desruisseaux,20, and I was born and raised in Orange, New Jersey. Growing up in the city has made me quite active and a people’s person. I love people. Also growing up in the church has given me not only a firm foundation for life the tools I needed to shape my talent and true love for music. I started singing when I was about seven years old. Simple melodies like “Yes Jesus loves me” and “Amazing Grace”. My family decided to move to Kissimmee, Florida in 2003, because of environment, weather, and the cost of living. Everyone knows its not cheap to live up north with six kids. I started going to sing at different talent shows and small town competitions and winning. Loving the lime light and playing with my sound trying to find “NAOMI”. It’s harder than it sounds. I went to an art school to learn different types of music. Like classical, opera, and jazz and fell completely in love with jazz. The rhythms the music the beat. And adapted to one of my favorite artist Sade. I’ve been performing at open mic nights and jam sessions loving crowds and passing out music. Knowing in my heart that the opportunity of a life time would be mine. In the near future I’m going to win an award for one of the best female songwriters of all time. And creating a new era in music. One that only someone truly genuine could bring to this world. In hopes to share my love of music and performance with fans and other great artist and with future artist to come.
