About Band
Started by Simon Duff and Luke Hextall in his garage in 2005, then joined by Bassist Dario Thomson, No Way Back first took to the stage as a 3 piece Punk-Pop band in local school Preston lodge High school talent shows in 2005.
As confidence grew they then were invited to attend the local Gala days, and more recent the Prestongrange music and Ale festival in East Lothian, and winners of the Edinburgh heats of “Battle of the bands” performing at the Northern Finals in the Carling Academy Glasgow. The present line up was completed when joined by Drummer/vocalist and long time friend, Craig Hodgson.
The band are working hard to get the attention they deserve, playing catchy tunes loud at anyone who'll listen. Strongly influenced by the music of bands like Blink 182, The Offspring and New Found Glory. No Way Back works in great guitar and strong vocals giving a unique energetic sound in the Punk-pop/Emo genre.
With an ever growing fan base from each gig, No Way Back are currently now producing their own fast selling branded merchandise, demo CD’s and t-shirts with their logo’s designed by their fans.
Continually writing new songs for each gig keeps their fans on their toes, its guaranteed that you will hear a fresh song each show, at present the band are unsigned but that’s just a matter of time and the belief that their time will come!
Simon Duff (17) Simon has been playing guitar since he was 9yrs and leads from the front with great solos and catchy tunes.
Luke Hextall (17, Initially on drums Lukes does lead vocals and rhythm guitar a strong voice kicking out great lyrics.
Dario Thomson (17) Dario gives the band a punchy bass and great stage presence,
Craig Hodgson (17) Craig’s creative style of drumming and harmonic vocals complete the sound of NO WAY BACK !
