1ST, WE PRESENT ROB REASON: CEO AND FOUNDER OF ONE REASON PRODUCTIONS !

Rob Reason was born and raised in Vallejo, CA., also home of music greats such as Sly and the Family Stone, Confunkshun, E-40, Mac Dre, and many more not mentioned here. Vallejo, located in the Bay Area of California, is a gold mine for gifted and talented people. Both with music and sports, they continually sprout out of Vallejo, and the entire Bay Area, especially Oakland, San Francisco, Sacramento, and many of smaller outllying areas.

 Rob started playing trumpet in the 4th grade while in school band. He entered a school talent show, and guess what? He won! "That really lit my pilot," he explains. All through Jr. High and High School, he and other neighborhood buddies seemingly out of nowhere started performing Top 20 music all around the area in many places they were still too young to be admited into otherwise. "shhh"
People were blown away by this band called TOTAL ECLIPSE playing complex tunes such as Earth, Wind and Fire with such precision, they didn't care that they were too young to be in some of the places they were playing. Unfortunately, as school came to an end, the group broke up and they went out into the world to begin their lives.

 In 1986, Rob received a call from local major label recording artists, Confunkshun. He accepted an audition with them and went with them on their BURNING LOVE tour. After returning from this tour, Rob reconnected with a high school buddy, Jay King, during the timed Jay Records was releasing the multi-platinum hit, RUMORS, performed by TIMEX SOCIAL CLUB, which later became the popular group CLUB NOUVEAU! This hit was followed by LEAN ON ME, SITUATION 9, and many more including the hit single HEAVY ON MY MIND. The music for the last one was written and arranged by ROB REASON. note: You will not see his name on the album, hence THE GHOST WRITER.

Currently, we are in the planning stages of a US tour in benefit of the Kidney Foundation with Rev. Mel Carter of Atlanta GA. (lead singer of Confunkshun replacing Felton Pilot for the 86 Burning Love Tour) and music producer and performer with numerous well known gospel artists. 

We are looking to complete our album with Earthen Vessel Productions by the holiday season 2008 which will include popular songs,  "Wake Up" and "All God's Children".  Until then,  these two songs, as well as a few others are on sale as singles.
