About Band
In the making for six years, Open the Skies finally found the line up they had been looking for in July 2005. After recruiting Josh (vocals) and Chris (drums), Open the skies started developing their musical style. The fresh, melodic, aggression filled sound you hear today is now taking them from strength to strength.
With their live performance being as vital to Open the Skies as their efforts in the studio, the band has worked very hard on creating a presence on stage that is energetic and memorable. You can only see how hard they have worked by going to one of their shows.
Having gathered a solid following in their home town they have proved themselves as an act that has the potential to go far. They are now working hard on increasing their fanbase through extensive gigging up and down the country.
This is a must see band in 2007... and its gonna be uncivilised.
