About Artist
Drawing heavily from Animal Collective's "Sung Tongs", Paper Plates is the freak-folk solo project of college student Kyle Burns. All songs were written and recorded in Kyle's dorm room, giving the project an extreme DIY sound that will feel familiar to those who enjoy lo-fi indie rock bands such as Pavement and Guided by Voices.
