The name "Loyiso" which is Xhosa - losely translated into english means "He conquered" guess what the name Ofentse which is Setswana, means... Yep you guessed it "He conquered".
We only found this out after knowin' each other for more than a year. Now that there is "Game recognising Game" But that's not why u are here is it!
When I 1st met these two cats, they told me that they were here to lay claim to the industry and I figured, shit here we go again. Just what the industry needs, two more inflated egos & these guys aint even been heard off. I was pleasantly surprised to hear these guys off load some fo the hottest ish I've heard in a while.
I haven't met nobody who could skip from a party track "Lookin' for a friend & not a partner" in No lova's Rock to bottom heart depth "Shebeen fights & ditch dives, two stitches & fist fights" in Home Sweet Home? with the ease & precision of a laser thru butter. I quickly realised this is the steriod lyrical filled injection that this industry needs.
Even tho unreleased these wordsmiths have shared the stage with the likes of Morafe, Mo' Lemi, L-Skillz, @ famous the YBA nights in P-town (Pretoria) "La tlala, or La ngala". They have also graced Monash University with Botswana natives Samba & Zeus and mainstrem veteran Zubz. These cats are makin' moves with coporate gigs that they have done in and around J-sec's business elite.
Their long awaited debut album "xxx" is but a minute from complision and with an early 2009 release, it promises to set the stage for next years' SAMA, Metro FM & Hype Mag awards.
