Twenty year old classically-trained soprano Raphaela Cameron has been singing in front of a live audience since she was a little girl. She has studied with Toronto-based sopranos, Janet Catherine Dea and Denise Williams, and jazz vocalist Adi Braun. She has sung as featured soprano with pianist Vladimir Dunin at the George Weston Recital Hall in Toronto. She is currently working on an album. She is a discerning music-lover and cites many different vocalists and musicians as influences, from Kate Bush to Maria Callas; and her own tastes in music range from jazz to classical to rock and hip-hop. Some of her favourite artists include Queen, Metro Station, Sarah Brightman, Jay-Z, Morrissey, Rihanna, SADS, Heart, Blondie, and Sean Kingston.
