LOOKING FOR AN ARTIST MANAGER!!!
As you all know, I (R Dot) have been doing the music scene for
quite awhile now. During the time of working on my music i've
also aquired a graphic design company (Dream Designs) and now we've started a promotions and marketing company that we are putting a lot of work and time into. With everything that i have going on as a CEO with DTR Entertainment, Dream Designs and this promotions company, I'm finding it very hard to findthe time to put in the necessary work for an artist as i wasbefore. At this point i believe the best thing for me would be a manager. I need someone who will put in the efforts to help promote me as an artist by getting me different apperances, performances, radio/magazine interviews ect.. and any other way possible. I need someone in my corner who can help me stay on track as an artist and also help the things move along faster. This is serious business! There will be a contract between me and whomever may get this position, and there IS money to be made!!! If you feel as though you could be the right person for me, contact me at rdot@dreamstorealityent.com

Biography
Being raised by a single parent isn’t the easiest thing, so being raised by a single “white” female in the middle of the hood, definitely couldn’t be defined as easy. RC “R Dot” Creekmur could tell you all about that first hand. Born and raised in the small town of Coatesville PA. (Located just outside of Philadelphia), R Dot’s childhood wasn’t what some would call ‘a piece of cake’. Shortly after entering this world, his parents split (this time for good). Forced to play the father figure, his mother had no choice but to get on her grind. “I don’t mean she was out selling or dealing drugs, but she was hustling her ass off working crazy hours for me and my sister. My mother is the strongest person I know, she’s the reason I am who I am today.” When he was only 9 yrs. old, R dot lost almost everything. His mother had flat lined after a heart attack at the age 37. Fortunately doctors were able to revive her. This tragedy was one of many, followed closely by two more heart attacks for his mother. With God on his (and her) side, his mother survived all three heart attacks. But with his mother constantly in and out of the hospital, and no “at home” father figure, R Dot was forced to face adolescence at an early age. “It was tough, times definitely got hard for me and my sister,” R Dot recalls. “As a youngin I was all into sports, I mean I loved music but to keep it 100% I never thought of a career as an artist, nor did I ever imagine I’d co-own a label!” With his mother having a serious heart condition R Dot had to start working, forcing his talent in sports (baseball, basketball and football) to be pushed to the back burner. “I started working so I could have extra cash in my pocket, and so I wouldn’t be putting pressure on my mom by needing her to pay my expenses. Once I did that I didn’t have enough time for practices everyday and whatnot so I just quit, I figured I was doing the right thing.” I guess you could say it was the right thing to do. His first job is where he realized he could actually do the music scene. “It all started out as a joke; basically I’d be at work on the register bored, so I started writing lyrics on receipt paper, nothing serious (at least I thought). One of my managers at the time (Chris Bates – R.I.P. 2-4-07) had noticed what I was doing and took serious interest in it. He told me that I had potential and I could really do this if I wanted too.” Coming from an older more experienced mc that meant a lot to R Dot. He was given his first rap name (“Gambit”) by his former manager, and this is how it all began, but never did he believe that he would become the artist you all love today. “I was about 17-18 yrs. old when I seriously got into music, writing original tracks and when I started actually recording…ok so it was only on a desktop PC but that was big for me then,” he says laughing. “Odaseey, (DTR member) and I formed a group named ‘Ivy League’, and I truly think he has a major part of jump starting my career, I gained a lot of confidence working with him. It was like we were a group that couldn’t be stopped by anyone, and trust me people definitely tried!” “I still wonder where I’d be if I hadn’t quit sports, but working was the best thing that happened to me. In high school I started working in a pizzeria, that’s where everything REALLY began.” There R Dot meet B. Harv. “B. Harv had a lot to do with my career also, its like this was all supposed to happen, from me dropping sports to working, linking with Odaseey, then meeting (B) Harv.” Although R Dot was beginning to explore his options as an artist, he had never been deeply serious with it until he me B. Harv. “If it wasn’t for him who knows, I might still be recording on my computer in my kitchen!” He says laughing. “Don’t get me wrong we (Ivy League) made it work but its nothing like what I have now.” B Harv opened the doors for R Dot as an artist. “It was unbelievable honestly, this guy was willing to devote so much of his time to me for absolutely nothing, now if that isn’t motivation that I don’t know what is.” R Dot and B. Harv along with lifetime friends (of both R Dot & B. Harv) A. Jermaine and J. Hill, decided to start a label. On New Years Eve 2004, Var-City Entertainment was formed which is known today as Dreams To Reality Entertainment (DTR Ent.). “I had to take advantage of this opportunity, with guys that are just as devoted as I am, and the upper hand on a lot of necessities such as studio equipment ect, I’d be a dumbie not too.” Since linking up with these fellows, R Dot looks to have a very promising future ahead of him. With his mind set on his goals, and a strong team to be his backbone, he has major plans for the industry!
