About Band

RedNight was born in Franklin, Tennessee and started out with Callum Sears, Justin Boggs and Ryan Boggs. After a year, the Boggs brothers quit and were replaced by musicians Riley Moore, Andrew Cox, Peter Blankenship and Taylor Hare. We are five Christian brothers who believe our lives should fully revolve around our Lord Jesus Christ who made us and loves us, and we know all our gifts come from him and he is worthy of all our praise and adoration. We rock for Christ! RedNight does not have any albums recorded yet. They are currently in the studio recording tracks for two EPs that should be released early next year (2008). RedNight provides their fans and listeners with great diverse music: ranging from Acoustic pop songs, to slow as well as up beat worship songs, to folk, to rock, and to completely stupid. We've got it all! Please check out our music and watch for any upcoming shows. We will try and get demo tracks up on this site soon!

Callum Sears- I was born in St. Louis, Missouri in the year 1990 and have been homeschooled my entire life. I grew up playing piano but eventually learned guitar along with cello and clarinet. For RedNight, I play acoustic and electric guitar, a little bass, keyboard, (and sometimes drums). My musical inspirations have come from so many groups and single artists, from Boston to Chicago to Kansas to Jack Johnson to Switchfoot to James Taylor and finally Eva Cassidy. I have enjoyed playing basketball for the NCC Warriors and soccer for the Fire along with hanging out wth good friends at Whitver Academy and church. I AM A HUGE VMI KEYDETS FAN. My dad played basketball for the institute and I am hoping to go down a similar path, God willing. The Keydets are my College Hoops team and almost made it to the big dance in 2007. We were so close! Anyway, it has been amazing to find friends and now fellow band members Andrew, Peter, Riley, and Taylor who are as enthusiastic as I am to pursue their musical abilities. We have had one "concert" at Brentwood United Methodist and had an amazing turn out. We want to THANK ALL OUR FANS who were there and yelled and screamed us on. Check out our music and keep in touch. See yall at future gigs. God bless!

Riley Moore- great addition to our band. Great singer, songwriter and guitar player. Gives us the serious and intelligent parts of our band! (Full bio coming soon)

Andrew Cox- I was born in Alabama in 1992, but have spent most of my life in Tennessee. I have played guitar for 8 years. The first band I was ever in only lasted one performance. I just recently picked up the bass. My aspirations are to become a better song writer as far as the music goes. My favorite bands are: Gun N' Roses, Relient K, Switchfoot, All-American Rejects and Bread. I am at Brentwood Academy as a freshman, but have spent most of my life being homeschooled. My interests include: Music, Soccer, girls (ya'll know who you are) guitars and much much more. (hey...this is callum. I know Andrew's bio is SO short, but he just hasn't had a lot of time to fully comprehend and think about how much has truly happened in his sweet life...I'll talk to him and we'll put some more stuff up here. He's actually kinda cool and somewhat interesting. Anyway, just thought I'd say that.)

Peter Blankenship- I was born in Alabama along with Andrew (my twin) here "in the year of our Lord" 1992. Kinda moved back and forth from AL and TN finally ending up in TN where I now reside. At the age of 2, I began to, "have a dream  that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character..." bad...SO well actually at the age of 7 I began to play piano. Some music that I enjoy would be like: Relient K, Switchfoot, Guns 'N Roses, Soundtracks, Trans Siberian Orchestra, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Blink 182, Arctic Monkeys, Maroon 5, Wolfmother, Mozart, Bach, Chopin, Beethoven, Mute Math...just to name a few. I have to say that I am a video game junkie. I can pown noobs in Battlefield 2: Modern Combat, Lord of the Rings Online: The Shadows of Angmar (my dudes screen name on this is Phimli so you better be expecting a pounding from this little dwarf which I also have a clan called "The Free Peoples of Middle Earth), Black Hawk Down: Team Force Sabre, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, Ratchet and Clank: Deadlocked, Halo, Age of Empires (clan name: SmItE13nOoBs, screen name: 007pale)... again just to name a few : ) So yeah I have to say I am pretty excited to get to have this opportunity to be in this band because I know this sounds clichés and I more than anybody hate clichés, but that sense of brotherhood is an awesome feeling in a band like this; people using there God giving talents to rock the house is really fun. I am also in my schools jazz band so if you hear some jazzy riffs or whatever on the piano you can thank my teachers. Well, what more do I have to say...oh yeah this may sound odd to some of you but I will kick your butt if you confront me about it but just for your information I enjoy a good Phantom of the Opera ever now and then. Yeah that's right I like musicals... SHOOT ME! No actually I am kidding don't shoot me I like my life just fine. Uh some more stuff I like are my friends who really are awesome. Won't go into detail about names because I don't have there written consent. So yeah check us out if your in the Nashville area, but as of now we are trying to make a show that will rock the house. Sears (not the store) will keep you updated and if you want info on the master you can wikipedia me...Yup! Until next time this is Pete Masta Flex!

Taylor Hare- Introducing our drum masta: Taylor Hare. This excellent drummer adds so much diversity to all our songs. (Full bio coming soon)

If you want a good dose of good, acoustic pop songs or christian rock songs like How Wonderful or just plain rock songs like Lullaby or songs of mere stupidity like Blue and Shiloh (written for a friend's dog), come hang out with us at future gigs and concerts. Keep checking for those dates. C ya.

the songs "Lullaby" (written by Callum Sears), "The No Reason For Bein Mad Blues" (one of our improvisation songs) and "How Wonderful" (written by Riley Moore) on the above media player were recorded in our private studio for demo purposes and are currently under construction. These are not the finished product and will hopefully be updated soon, along with others from our cd.
