About Artist
He started playing and writing at the age of 12 years. Playing in numerous garage bands, battle of the bands, public performances such as variety shows, high school dances, to the University of Chicago and everything in between. These are times where he learned to appreciate many genres of music. His first studio recording took place in the home studio of “Gary Loizzo” lead guitarist for the group “The American Breed”.
Reggie also played lead guitar 2 years for “Tyrone Davis”. In the midst of touring with him and being a support act, played backup for surprise guests such as “The Staple Singers,” “Albert King,” and “Johnny Taylor.” They also shared billings with, “Candi Staton,” “Bobby Blue Bland,” “B.B. King,” and “James Brown.”
A few of Reggie’s musical influence’s have been “The Beatles,” “Jimmy Hendrix,” “Miles Davis,” and “Santana,” and “Chick Corea” just to name a few. He has played with different church ministries, and was privileged to play along side, music ministers like, “Desmond Pringle,” “Vicki Yohe,” “Kim Rutherford,” and “Greg Echols,” of “Make Us One Productions.”
I want to stay on the cutting edge of music, keeping myself progressive, and open to what the arts have to offer. With his latest work, he is still in the process of progressive "Transformation".
