We originated in Colwyn Bay, on the coast of North Wales. As a band we've been together for about 1 & 1/2 yrs.We play a bend of alternative rock, emo rock and punk. Jezza Bruce is the song writter and he is hugely influenced by the 'Lostprophets' , Dave Hudson (bassist) is also inspired by the prophets but he finds inspiration from supergroup Muse, where as Perry B (the Drummer) has roots in metal and has developed his own style of drumming which helps to add to the individuality of 'Robes Of State'. hope we didn't blow our own trumpet too much! :) We love gig'n , we love the wait all day before we play (pre gig tension rules).
