Formed in May 2006; Brantford musicians; Brad Bridges and Billy Minnery first hooked up through a mutual friend and realized quickly into their first jam sessions, that they had found the Holy Grail. TJ Cassidy joined the band in June and thus the Trio of Destiny was born…Rough Justice.
Their hard hitting, smooth/tight showcase features original Rough Justice kick ass progressive rock/metal tunes and covers from music giants; Van Halen, Metallica, Velvet Revolver, Led Zeppelin, Megadeth, Deep Purple, Hendrix, Beatles, the Doobie Bros and more. While their act does include covers, it is their original tunes that are rocking the bars and grabbing the attention of musicians and fans. RJ is currently working on their all original prog metal album which is ready to rip off people’s faces. Original music is composed by the whole band. It’s an evolution of process, the originals are heavy and have a newer twist; they call it Classic Rock updated.
Over the course of the last 3 years, Rough Justice has been rocking audiences across Ontario and has a growing legion of fans and several pounding shows under their belts which include: Brantford - the Alex, Brooksez, the Ford Plant, Brando’s, J’s Place, Harmony Square, Rosie’s Underground, the Creamery, Bottom’s Up; Pate’s Farm, Philthy McNasty’s, Someplace Else, Army and Navy Club, Randy’s, Burlington - the Red Rooster; Kitchener - The Hive, Paris - Paris Fair; Port Rowan - the Boat House; Scotland - Willow Lake Park; St. George - St. George Apple Fest; St. Thomas - Pinafore Park Music Festival; Toronto - The Opera House, Waterford - Waterford Pumpkinfest; Woodstock - Shades of Green, Moose Lodge.

Drums ~ (Madd Brad) Brad Bridges lives in Mt. Pleasant Ontario. He has played drums for 6 years under the guidance of Lino DiClemente. He’s played with many musicians and in a few local bands. Brad’s musical influences are Frank Zappa, Robert Fripp, Bill Bruford, King Crimson, and Van Der Graaf Generator. He prefers avant-garde, experimental, and progressive rock. Brad likes to add a bit of a jazz flare to his drumming during some of their RJ set lists. He is a percussion specialist whose innate knack for showmanship creates an atmosphere of run-away pandemonium & excellence. His show behind the kit is an always an audience favourite.
Bass ~ (The Anchor) TJ Cassidy lives in Brantford Ontario and has taught himself how to play over the last 6 years. He credits his musical influences as; Tool, Metallica, A Perfect Circle, and Massive-Attack. He prefers listening to rock, metal, trip-hop & progressive rock. TJ is a young bass player who displays consistent dedication to the group through thick and thin; a very kind-hearted, well-intentioned & uniquely talented fabulous bass player.
Lead Guitar/Vocals ~ (BJ) Billy Minnery is from Brantford Ontario and has been shredding the axe for 5 years. He has quickly been hailed as one of the most talented young guitarists in Southern Ontario. Studying guitar with Dave McWilliams, his influences include; Eddie Van Halen, Jimi Hendrix, John Petrucci, Angus Young, Slash, Zakk Wylde, Steve Vai, Dave Mustaine, Dimebag Darrell, BB King and Mike LaPointe. Billy was labelled a teenage guitar prodigy whose musical sensitivity, creativity, and guitar playing ranks to the level of genius.
