Hi!

We are Saishu Soundtrack, a small band made up of 3 girls - Havanah (bass), Alice (guitar and vocals) and Emz (piano). We listen to a variety of music - from JLS to Deathstars - and love every bit of it. Bands we all like are Tokio Hotel, Within Temptation, Evanescence, Relient K, Avril Lavigne, Good Charlotte and so on. You get the idea. These are our main influences, although sometimes we don't sound a bit like them.

The band was formed in early '08 after Alice and Havanah left a previous band that they had been members of, and set up their own. Emz joined that autumn, and we decided to cover some songs (by Taylor Swift, My Chemical Romance and Cinema Bizarre) before writing some of our own.

We try to base our songs on the sorts of things teenagers encounter, and feel, every day. This means some of them are about boys, some of them are about the places they live, some of them are scary and some of them are innocent. Rain, our first ever proper song, is about a boy leading a girl for fun, without realising what it's doing to her.

With more songs - The Wrong Side of Town, LTU and The One He'd Cry For - coming your way soon, the band is still looking to find a drummer. Fingers crossed, we'll get one soon. In the meantime, enjoy Rain! and we will see you soon. ;]
