SCHEOL DILU MILLER

From Jamaica, Scheol Dilu Miller (Dailù), a new star of modern blues and ethnic contamination. (Daughter of the great singer, Estella Livingston-Miller and harmonic man, Gerald George Miller).
Although Scheol Dilu was born into the reggae royalty, one need only to hear her voice, to know that she has cultivated and developed her “gifts” into her very own uniquely compelling “world-class” package. As a child, she began singing in the church choir, and at school recitals. This experience, like so many other “soulful” success stories, undoubtedly began to paint her music career, and are the paths which has now led to her abilities to musically interpret with a soulful, bluesy, and uniquely regglat style.
Some years ago after the death of her parents, she decided to come over to Italy following the musical path of her brother, Emanuel Miller, leaving her job at the American Embassy "USAID" in Kingston. From there she began her tours in Italy, Switzerland, Austria, United States, United Arab Emirates, and Great Britain. In the last 9 years Scheol has participated at many blues festivals, shows, and concerts. For example she was invited to perform in the support gospel choir on soulsinger Mariah Carey's Rainbow Concert at the FilaForum, she performed with the great Tony Coleman, Jason Langley, Wendy Lewis, Larry Ray & The JESTOFUNK, Arthur Miles & The All Stars Insommnia, Kay Foster Jackson & The Free Voices, Joyce Yuille & The Gospel Times, Sonya McGuire, right on into the Theatre with the great Italian TV Actor, Enrico Montesano.
In this period she's been collaborating and touring, promoting her NEW Cd 'Aint I All That Woman Sings The Blues', with The Cisco Blues Band/Longs Valley Blues Band. She also collaborates with Massimo Garrubba and The Blue in Blues, Marcello Leanza & His acoustic Jazz Trio, Stefano Calzolari's Trio, Joe 'Harmonica' Pedros, her brother Emanuel Miller of 'Jamaica Age', and Enzo DeGioia's Trio.
We guarantee that the concerts of Scheol Dilu Miller is a torrential mixture of music origins and flavors of black music absorbed around the world - blues, rhythm and blues, gospel, soul, funk, reggae, dance70/80's - with deep inspiration to the sound of Aretha Franklin, Donna Summer, Gloria Gaynor, Otis Redding, BBKing, Buddy Guy, Little Johnnie Taylor, Albert King, Koko Taylor, Katie Webster, Ruth Brown, Otis Redding, Bob Marley, Dennis Brown, James Brown, Etta James, The Blues Brothers, etc.
She possesses that rare vocal quality which can effectively “deliver” most any type of music style. Her personal choice is to inject her music with that “soulful bluesy” feeling. Scheol Dilu, knows definitely how to merge her powerful voice, her stage presence, her charming and esuberant personality for all her audiences all over the WORLD.
