About Band

SEE SPOT RUN released their fourth CD “Gonna Getcha” late in 2007. The album is a result of collaboration between See Spot Run and Producer, Ed Krautner (Sum 41). Featured on the disk is drummer Josh Trager (Sam Roberts). The title track from the album “Gonna Getcha” was immediately picked up by the hit TV series DeGrassi, The Next Generation. The episode featuring the song was aired on the N Network in the USA in February 2008 and on the CTV Network in Canada in March 2008. The song is also being used by Degrassi on vSide with a virtual world rendition of the Degrassi coffee house “The Dot”. The band has been very busy since releasing “Gonna Getcha”. A cross Canada tour in 2007 led to many regional dates in Ontario and Quebec. They did a fundraiser for the Queen Street Fire Victims that involved appearances on Sun TV, a live performance on Breakfast Television, Toronto and a concert at Niagara Falls University, in New York State. Summer gets off with a bang with concerts in Lexington, Michigan, Windsor, Ontario and on July 6 they open for Bon Jovi in Sarnia, Ontario. See Spot Run released their first single to US radio in March and are getting a sizable number of adds across the nation. An article in Washington’s DC Scene and the DeGrassi airings have helped the single along. Currently the band is finishing up a French album for Fall 2008 release. It will contain their previously unreleased hit singles “Decoller” (#1 Quebec) and “Terrifie” as well as French interpretations of songs from the new CD. The cornerstone of the French CD will be a song called “Sad Song”. A powerful ballad about the plight of the homeless, the song is being used for publicity by homeless shelters and organizations across Canada and the US. The lyrics were reinterpreted by Quebec singing star/songwriter Francine Raymond. The song, in both languages will be released to Canadian radio in the Fall. "WEIGHTLESS", their third album, made Canadian recording history. The title track from the CD was certified by BDS as being "the highest charted independent song on the rock chart since the inception of BDS". "Weightless," the single, reached #9 on the rock chart; #6 on the Top 40 Chart; #5 on the all Canadian chart; and in translation "Decoller" reached #1 in Quebec. The follow up Terrified/Terrifie climbed the Canadian CHR charts in both languages. The Canadian Association of Broadcasters gave See Spot Run the "Breakout Single of The Year Award". Wire Magazine gave the "Concert of the Year Award" shortly after. Since releasing their second album "TEN STORIES HIGH", See Spot Run has had 5 charting singles; 5 videos played on MuchMusic; done 7 cross Canada tours; appeared on a multitude of Canadian and international television shows; and done hundreds of interviews. All sports nuts, they were thrilled to sing the anthem for a Toronto Raptors game and perform at the pre-game warm up for the Buffalo Bills. See Spot Run was formed in Montreal by Chris Brodbeck and Randy Bowen and is based in Toronto today. Also in the band are hot young Toronto musicians Fudge (drummer) and Aaron Little (guitar). The band will tour in support of the new CD. "Weightless", and “Ten Stories High", were recorded in Montreal, and produced by Gary Moffet (Sass Jordan, April Wine). See Spot Run was the first band to launch at Toronto's Air Canada Centre. .SEE SPOT RUN 4 Albums “Traces” “Ten Stories High” “Weightless” and “Gonna Getcha 5 Videos 5 Charting singles 19 Months on the charts with hit single “Weightless” #9 Rock Chart #6 Top 40 Chart #5 All Canadian Chart #1 in French for the translation “Decoller” #82 Top 100 Canadian Hits of All Time 7 Cross Canada tours 2 Awards • “Breakout Single of the Year” from • Canadian Association of Broadcasters • “Concert of the Year” from Wire Magazine 5 International Television Shows !
