Hi my name is Serena Smallwood, from East Orange, New Jersey. I am 17 years old, i am a unsigned artist. I attend Essex County Vocational High School. in West Caldwell, NJ. I am in the performing arts class. The class get you ready for the music business if you want to be an artist or producer. My joys are being with my boyfriend Devante and being with my family. My family are very close when we need each other we'll there for everyone. My hobbies are singing, dancing , and writing music. Being a songwriter is one of the most powerful thing. I feel that writing music is the words and thoughts that you feel that you put on paper then turn to melodies. I feel that my music expresses my pain and thoughts to the world, In show how people is feeling the same way i do. I believe in myself in know that my music will spread around, in touches the world. My lyrics tells stories about breaking hearts, cheating, crushes, lost, and being a teen female in the cold world. My influences are Beyonce, Rihanna, Mary J. Blige, the Blue Notes, Stevie Wonder, and The Temptations. These artist i grew up listening to with my family. In their own way they made music that have inspirations for some many artist you see today. My past i went throught some heartbreaks but i put that pain in my music because some where in the world a girl or boy is going throught the same thing. My furture is to get signed, in sang, in make my dreams come true, but to continue my education in college. In i will be inspiration to all.
