Starting in the fall of 2008, the techno project of Come Set Prometheus Aflame quite literally began from scratch. With no formal education in music, much trial and error, and a title that was just far too damn long, Set Prometheus Aflame soon began busting up home speakers and blowing cheap, faulty headphones.
Born from boredom and an appreciation of electronica, an affection for science fiction, steampunk-style, and a shameless infatuation with horror films. Inspired by my brother, my front porch, cold weather, men with beards, the Eighties, cruising back roads with the windows down and the bass up, and my dear, old 8-bit life.
