About Band
Welcome!! We are Shanty Town a new band hailing from Salford, formed up by the drive and ambition of playing music.
We are currently in the midst of recognising each others worth and role within the band and for some members its the first time rehearsing, writing and performing in such a band. We have been together since the end of 2006 and hope to be putting a string of live performances together throughout the year.
We are always in the process of writing music either lyrically or musically and we aim to vary our style across into all of our songs.
So feel free to check us out at any of the live gigs which are forthcoming, as for the near future we aim to carry on writing, performing live and becoming as tight as a band as possible and thus may lead us to being a success. We hope you will give us the support that our band needs let alone crave for and join us along the way to enjoying our music.
