At the end of 1995, a metal bend “Abadon” was founded in Trstenik. After few rehearsals, we decided to change the name of the bend ‘Abadon” to “Simargal”. At that time “Simargal”was consisted of:
Goran Smiljkovic – vocal, bass
Igor Skrinjar – guitar
Aleksandar Milutinovic – guitar
Zoran Dragojevic – drums
After a year of some serious work, exactly in June 1997, “Simargal” entered “Cesnjak” studio and recorded its first demo-project called “ Intus-Susceptio”. At that time “Simargal” played melodic death metal but in time they have started to develop and change that style.
Names of the songs from “Intus-Susceptio” are:
1. “In Nominee Satanus”
2. “The end”
3. “Exhumed Again”
5. “All Christians are Destroyed”
In the middle of 1998, Aleksandar Milutinovic left the bend and as his replacement came Danijel Pesic. In the meanwhile with the development of its sound they realized that they need one more member who would play keyboards. Milica Gabor took that place.
In February 1999 “Simargal” again entered studio and recorded its first debut album called “Meeting With…” which was consisted of six songs:

A Belgrade publisher “Rock Express Records” published the Album in March 2001. “Meeting With…” was recorded in “Cesnjak” studio. In the beginning of 2000, Ivan Pesic joined the bend as a bass-player while Milica Gabor was forced to leave the bend because of her faculty. During 2002 the last change in the bend occurred ,Vladimir Jovanovic joined the bend,. After that the bend members matured and recorded their second album called “Hidden God”. It’s consisted of seven songs and two re-makes from the first demo “Intus-Susceptio”.
