LBP (Laid Back Playaz) Founded in Dallas, Texas in 2000, LBP is known for its diverse, original approach to gangsta-style rap. A style that has been duplicated by many artist in the DFW area , They started with on my screens and the skills flourished from there, They are freestyle geniuses, each with a different voice and style, yet all coming from the same place of tragedy and hardship. These rappers hail from the part of town known as Pleasant Grove, an area rife with crime and gang activity. So we are P.O.M.E. ( Product of My Environment ) They have become masters of the metaphor, utilizing an infinite range of analogies to communicate the brutal happenings and attitudes of hood life and their experience living it to an audience that stretches far beyond the reaches of North Dallas. ( Dallas ) to launch a full-out assault on the rap world this spring and summer, unleashing a fusillade of fiya compilations that will leave the competition reeling.
