In May of 2008, Oleg Ginzburg held an audition for female vocalists to appear on his next album. He chose Anna Alexandrova. The sound of her voice was not only a perfect fit for the songs, but also suited Oleg’s own vocal sound very well. Thus, the SIRIUS duo was created. In July, they began recording the album, and in November they made a music video for their hit song HIGHEST HEIGHT. Now the album is finished, and the video is ready for heavy TV rotation. The band’s first gig will take place at the end of February, 2009, at a prestigious Moscow club. The unique sound of SIRIUS is a perfect blend of rock and pop, as well as male and female lead vocals. The majority of the songs are performed in English, because Oleg spent 14 years of his life in . Therefore, writing and singing in that language comes totally natural for him.
