Skyro, also known as 'Skyro Skrillz' and 'Skyro Skribblez', is a aspiring EDM artist born and raised in the suburbs of High Point, North Carolina with a sole purpose of creating and experimenting with sounds and inspiring others with his music. He first started out in the music scene as a vocalist for many metalcore, post-hardcore and pop punk bands in the Triad area.

Growing up, He found himself in immersed in the music scene fronting bands like The Saltwater Cure, Get Stoked!, I the Innovator, To Greater Heights, and more. It was then where he learned to write his own material and also learned how to present yourself on stage.

At the age of 16, he then started playing guitar and learning to sing as well as learning screaming vocals to better himself as musician. He learned at a quick pace and became even more interested in that particular music scene.

By the time he was 18, Rahiem had no interest in the music scene he had first fell in love with. Due to infighting and egotisitcal attitudes, it seemed that every band he either joined or started went nowhere. But a few months later after listening to Skrillex, recommended by a close friend, he found a new calling in music and that was to become one of the best EDM artists in the world. And with he began his long, and hard road to the top.

His first EP, "Mechanize" was his calling card. It got a bigger and better response than anything he's ever done prior to producing electronic music. He was happy that others wanted to promote and support even though he had switched from hardcore breakdowns and screaming, to heavy bass and melody. He calls his fans, "Team Skrillz" and is glad that majority of his fans who supported him while fronting local bands, still support him till this day.

Now 19 years of age, he has recently released his newest EP, "Skyro Fuckin' Skrillz", and is already working on new material for an upcoming two-part EP entitled "Skream Wobbles & Filthy Growls" Parts I & II.
