Ceven Lewis, better known as, Smook Savage, is a local rapper born in Fort. Lauderdale, FL. Smook was raised between Fort Lauderdale and Pompano since childhood. Smook started rapping at about age eleven. Smook was with a group (Deed Up Ent.) for two years prior to becoming a solo artist earlier this year. Smook writes all his own lyrics and has the talent of free-styling. Smook performs at open mic’s between Broward & Dade County weekly (ex. Pipeline-Miami, Café 54-Fort Lauderdale, Banana Boat-Fort Lauderdale). Smook recently completed his first demo with beats provided by Mowet and is working on completing his first album.
Smook’s music can currently be heard on 89.5FM radio station, 89.1FM radio station, Myspace.com/smooksavage2009, You Tube (under Smook Savage, Pipeline and Café 54) and CD #244 (mixed artists) at “The Spot” in Fort Lauderdale .
