About Band
ABOUT: SOUTHERN MISCHIEF
Formed in February 2007, Southern Mischief began with a simple statement of purpose:
"We are on a Mission to bring back the glory days of Southern Rock & Roll. When Lynyrd Skynyrd, 38 Special, Molly Hatchet, The Allman Brothers, etc... ruled the airwaves and made everyone fall in love with that wonderful Southern Rock groove!"
In only 3 months time, we have over 6000 loyal fans signed up on our MySpace mailing list.
Our music is being played on several FM radio stations in America, as well as radio stations in Italy, France & Belgium. The Southern Rock magazine "Bands of Dixie" is doing a feature on us, due out within the next several months.
Two of our original songs have been licensed for the soundtrack of a "Best Rock-Climbing Places In The Southeast" video, to be distributed throughout the Southeastern United States.
In a remarkably short period of time, "Southern Mischief" has garnered a huge amount of buzz across the country!
ABOUT: THE BAND MEMBERS
"Craig Maxim" (Lead Singer, Rhythm Guitar & Keyboards) became a professional musician, singer and songwriter at age 12, performing across the country with his mother's Top-40 band. Since then, he has formed several bands of his own, including "Enough Said", "Narrow Is The Way", "The Guild" and most recently "Southern Mischief", performing across America and in other countries, with audiences reaching tens of thousands. Craig resides in Conyers, Georgia.
"Daniel LeFever" (Bass), is quickly becoming a veteran of the music biz, having performed in several successful projects. Being a musician has always been his life long dream, and he pursues it with a vengeance. Daniel resides in Covington, Georgia.
"Gary Esslinger" (Lead Guitar), comes from a long line of musicians. His father's band opened for the Kinks. When you hear those sweet riffs coming from his Fender Strat, or his Gibson SG, you just know he was born to make the guitar sing! He is a veteran of the music biz, having been a member of several successful bands as well as pursuing solo projects. He is a lead and rhythm guitarist as well as a singer and songwriter! Gary resides in Covington, Georgia.
"Brian Griffin" (Drums/Percussion) knew he wanted to be a drummer from age 7, and since that time has been a member of several groups, including: The Griffins, Battlecreek, Doug Binder and the Midnight Express. For the last several years, he has been a veteran of the Chattanooga music scene, but wanting to branch out into the Atlanta area, Brian joined "Southern Mischief" and as they say, "The rest was history!" Brian resides in Ft. Oglethorpe, Georgia.
