About Band

-Stoni Taylor & Miles Of Stones-

The bands southern blues and  itinerant sways affiliated with folk rock, funk rock and gospel hymns are cornerstones of Stoni Taylor's melodic riffs.
It is as though Stoni scripted his interpretation of song from a research study on various assemblies. Sly Stone, Hendrix, Joplin,Howlin Wolf,Zepplin,Bojork,Funk-a-Delic, Richie Havens, Jonny "Guitar" Watson, Billie Holiday, Blind Willie M, Nina Samone...and countless others.
Stoni is able to play each type of harmonic influence in exchange with the other creating a musical journey for his audience.
The unassuming of Stoni’s artistry catches many a crowd dweller off guard. His emotion and  melodies come together to unveil the finest performance ones seen in awhile.
The over all show is a personal invitation for releasing your day's stress, fatigue and worries. In venue's where his true artistry is caught coming to life. The music paints a picture that can’t be put on canvas. One can only wonder if a blues songstress has greatly moved him along his travels, or has it been years of both hearing and listening to a praying grandmother humming tunes while preparing for Sunday morning 11:00 service?
