Claudette Harrell aka Sweet Claudette is a seasoned performer and songwriter who can give you blues straight up with no chaser. She tastefully gives it to you lowdown and dirty,  or massage your soul with a cover tune, one of her original urban style ballads or deliver a good hard rocking, scorching soulful song. Sweet Claudette has been working steadily for many years in the area of her hometown, of Detroit, Michigan at events such as Detroit Winterblast, Detroit Riverwalk, Pontiac Arts Beats & Eats, Oxford Hot Blues & BBQ and many more. She is also well established as a regional and national artist. A typical show with Sweet Claudette and Friends band are laced with real life witty, quirky and unforgettable lyrics with danceable, high-energy beats. Sweet Claudette has self produced and released 26 self-penned songs over three CDs. A fourth live recording of thirteen covers and one remixed original song released under No Cover Productions. Sweet Claudette has been receiving more wide spread recognition from areas in Alabama (USA) to Windsor and Burlington, Ontario, Canada. Sweet Claudette & Friends Band are the 2007 Winners of Round 2 Detroit Blues Society Challenge.
