Tain comes from the original stage name of pretty ricky fontain. But over the years there was another group that came out as pretty ricky, so I shorted my stage name to Tain. Tain has been experience the music industry with a multitude of different talents. Tain started performing in local talent shows in Detroit and Chicago. Tain then went on to performing in a more professional setting, such as the Chicago Expo for 4 years straight and the United Negro Foundation. Tain started writing songs at the age of eighteen and has over 100 songs completed and some professional copywritten and on a publishing contract. Tain is experienced in the process of producing a professional album from being in a number of well know studio’s.

Tain moved to Atlanta and worked with companies such as Triple B Records, Rowdy Records. Tain has experience signing to major labels such as Triple B Records, and DreamWorks Records. Tain has produced three albums solo and with a group, and has preformed these albums at professional studios such as Tree Sound studio’s, Bosstown, Darp studio, and Patchwork. Tain’s has performed in Atlanta at Sony Showcase, NAACP Green room for Jesse Jackson, Grant Park Women’s Convention, Finals for Miller showcase for a trip to the Apollo, performed at 4 Sisters only.

Tain has started his own record label, N2 Entertainment, Inc., and has been involved in Management, Producing, Artist Development, and Product placement
