About Band
Because we were all born of different parents we write songs and record them in the basement.
The Blahas (pronounced Bla- has, the second "a" sounds just like the first "a" ) usually gig on Thursday nights for half the door. We've rocked The Town and Country (T&C) and The "Joint" Vocational School in Medina, The Hot Pants Dance at Brunswick High School, The Shire at CSU, Starrett's Graduation Party, Partners West and a benefit in Lodi to raise money so Curtis's mom could buy cement for around her in-ground pool. Once we played at a Todd Rundgren appreciation day at Peabody's. Did I forget to mention all the times we played at Paxton's Lampoon parties out in West Salem ?
To our credit we once won a battle of the bands, not because we were better than the other band but because we had more fans. We are also RT approved !
Early influences: CLOUD, ELYSIUM FIELDS, BUCKWHEAT'S FANTASY, and TABOO.
Make no mistake, we will tune up one day but until then we would like you to hear the music that our world is missing.
