About Band
The Fiction, Formally know as Ten Days South, was formed by founding members James Dalley and Jack Reilly in the early summer of 2006, After being in many unsucessfull bands seperatly Jack and Jay decided to put their musical talents together, With the later addition of Dan Walton on drums and Dave Wintle on bass the band was set to begin gigging. Unfortunaly for the band, days before their first show at Edwards no8, bassist Dave Wintle came to the decision to leave the band due to other commitments. This left the band without a bassist for several months.
After months of searching for a new bassist, The band were approached by Lewis, This lead to the creation of The Fiction the band have now started writing new material and are already planning the release of their first Full 12 song CD which is set to be released in Summer 2007.
The Fiction have already played Venues such as Barfly, Birmingham, Bar Academy, Birmingham, The Irish Club, Birmingham, Edwards no8 (RIP), Birmingham and are now looking for more gigs in the West Midlands area (if you are interested in booking The Fiction please Message us or e-mail the_fiction@hotmail.co.uk)
With approval from bands such as Fast Reaction, Zombies of Ska, Icarus Will Destroy You, Jimmy Robbins,Go! Go! Dinosaur!, Jamestown Story & Nik Parkinson things are only looking up for The Fiction.
