THE LADS (of the backroom sandwhich) Hey we're The Lads, we're from the centre of australia (Alice Springs). We formed in late 2006 and weren't good we were actually tottally crap. We had started with 7 Nation army as our 1st song we were actually able to play (only instrumentally no vocals) and then we wanted to play heaps of other songs then there were too many that we just stopped for a while. We then started playing again about april this year and started to get pretty good. Our main influences of music are- Jet, Wolfmother, AC/DC, Sum 41, Beatles, Led Zeppelin etc.. So we're alternative rock!!!!! . And the reason we are called "the Lads" is for the reason that the members of the band are lochie with a L, addy with a A, and daniel with a D then just a S to top it all off. Our first songs that are up are all covers of songs. Umm yeah its pretty bad recording equipment type stuff, but yeah whatever, 7 nation army is by white stripes, rollover dj is by jet , joker and the thief is by wolfmother and 12 bar blues is just by whoever invented it... ok some dissapointing news for all u fans lol, the "A" of lads has recently actually ages ago announced he will be leaving becuase he is moving, hoopefully they can reform some day again. and they missed out on a frigen gig cuz the bassist didnt want 2 play!!!!!!!!!!! so anyway this is most probably the end of the lads as we know it, but hopefully someday they can rejoin and play again like the old times..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
