Hey everybody!!! The Neighbors are currently writing music and songs and getting a bunch of technicalities and crud outta the way right now, but you can expect some songs to be up by summer '07, if all goes well. Currently, we have some songs up that aren't by us, but we explained the whole deal in our blog titled "Influential Songs".

We've got some really good sounds in the mix right now, but if your patient you won't have to deal with this emo music junk much too longer, cause we're gonna blow it out your face!!

And don't even get us started on rap...

Well anyways, we've been all living in our neighborhood for about 4 or 5 years and we all started playing instruments. Brad originally was playing guitar, but lost interest in it. We were all sitting around one day, and one of us said, "Hey let's start a band." We decided it was a good idea, but we were just kinda treating it like just something to do.

We actually started getting serious about a month or two ago, and we were really struggling in the vocals area... Robert was gonna sing originally, but when we had our first "real" practice (as neighbors, we had the chance to bounce ideas off eachother, but we hadn't had an actual get together with all of us for a while.) Brad was there, but he was just sitting on the floor listening.

We really had no idea what was gonna happen with singing, so Robert proposed that Brad sing, and nobody else seemed to have a problem with it so Brad was our singer. but he changed his mind again, and so now Michael and Robert are co-vocalist and Brad'll pretty much just run around onstage when we're playing.

We decided that our first recordings are gonna be mostly or all cover songs so we can get used to recording and playing together, so expect some songs to show up on here in the next month or so.
