The Optimists are known to be a very unpredictable band. Formed in April 2006, the band slowly started to get their act together writing and rehersing as much as possible and played their first gig together that July. Though they only played covers at the time, they started to gather a few fans and word got round about this new band. Charlotte, Sam and George are only in their teenage years but they have already managed to write a handful of unusual tracks and recorded their first EP March 2007. This year the plan is to keep gigging, so anyone wanting to book The Optimists would be welcome
