About Band
The Same Mistakes were formed in Blackpool in 2006. The line up comprises founder members Mark Hodgson and Adam Southward, along with bassist Steve Deignan.
The band's influences are many and varied and include Muse, Mansun, The Cooper Temple Clause, Rage Against The Machine/Audioslave and many others. Our sound is best described as 'the bastard love child of all our influences'!
Having listened to and watched many live bands, both locally and elsewhere, we are striving to avoid our songs becoming too samey. We are very conscious of people coming to our gigs and getting bored, so always try to think outside the box with our songs, both in terms of format and genre.
We are aiming to get many more gigs, locally and in the North West generally.
